Fux with the best, Die like the rest
I picked up my first bolt action 22 to slow down my ammo consumption and maybe be more accurate than my other semis or lever actions. First impressions, it's light and points really well. It comes with 2 cheek risers. The low rise is perfect for the irons, but the riser piece paired with an optic is like sex with your wife, comfortable and repeatable. Trigger pull came set at 4.5 lbs, and the barrel has a target crown. I cleaned it, added a Nikon Rimfire and went to sight it in with 6 different ammo choices. Stinger 40gr, Winchester 40gr power point, Winchester 37gr varmint he, Winchester 36gr bulk hp, Federal 36gn bulk, and Monarch 36gr hp bulk.
10 shot groups except for the initial sight in. All did "ok", but the best groups came from either the federal or Winchester bulk ammo. Left target bottom left and center is the Federal and left target bottom right was Winchester.
I took it home and watched a YouTube video where a guy just flat removes the spring that puts preload on the trigger. I found the trigger while only 1.5 lbs, didn't reliably reset, so I trimmed a coil off of the aforementioned spring and reinstalled. The trigger pull settled in at 2.3 lbs and resets every time. So in conclusion, a sub $200 rifle shoots decent groups with the cheapest ammo you can feed it, and comes with a nice trigger that you can improve on. I'm happy with it.
