Well, next week is that big turkey day again! Are the past many months of the Covid 19 nonsense, made any huge changes to how people are going to celebrate the holidays this year? Travel and such?

Meh? I'm going to do what I did last year. Smoke a turkey and do some grilling for the family just like I always have.

Herein SATX there have been NUMEROUS reports of LEOs telling couples, INCLUDING NEWLYWEDS, to stay 6 or more feet apart.
(In one reported case, a young couple were "called down" by a SAPD officer for walking with the young lady's hand in his back pocket & his arm around her. waist. = She reportedly responded, "We got married last Saturday. Well....my wife just got over Covid. My daughter and I are still healthy, but we're changing up some of the family gathering schedules for their sake. Our Thanksgiving holiday is going to stretch through December at this rate....

Had plans for my son to come over but not so sure now; feeling under the weather. If I feel better, then sticking to the plans - if not then cancelled until another time. Thanksgiving is not important as to which day of a week or month it falls on but, I think, but for the spirit of the holiday - thankfullness for what we have been given and what we have made.
