Sorry George... had to try the ivory colored G10 slim grips lol

Also ordered black after seeing OIF2’s old Wiley Clapp.

Not enough revolvers in this thread. I was able to pick up a very good deal on a 6 inch nickel Model 27-2 from an estate sale in Florida. It had been at my FFL buddy's place for a little over a week and I got by to pick it up yesterday.
If it has been fired since it left S&W, it's been fired very little. A few handling marks on the grips are the only blemishes I can find anywhere.

To me, the best thing on a Model 27 is the checkered top strap.

When Ruger introduced the Wrangler, I wanted one. When Ruger failed to ship them for a long time, I lost interest. Yesterday, my buddy had a Cimerron Plinkerton and I had to bring it home with me.

Wyoming Arms Parker 10 mm pistol barrel and slide.......squib round this afternoon.....supposedly was using factory Sig Sauer ammunition( I cannot confirm this)........dark ring in the barrel as is common after firing a round behind a squib......had to use a rubber mallet to get the slide off...couldn't get barrel out of slide...........barrel split all the way to chamber.....bowed the slide.............no injuries............

Dangit! Glad no one was hurt. That's never happened to me. Sure don't want it to either.
