I did go by Tom Bean the other day. Kinda bare bones, a couple of picnic bench style benches, pretty low berm. I was by myself whne I got there. One bench was out at about 25 yrds so I just set up there since I was just fireforming some loads. Pretty soon a couple of guys showed up and backed their truck right up beside me. I offered to move to whatever yardage they wanted to shoot at but they said it was fine. But then they kept creeping forward so that they would be standing in front of the line of fire. Granted they were to my side, but I'm not comfortable shooting like that. So it's not a bad range in a pinch, you just have to keep an eye on those around you.

As a side note, what is it with shooting AR's at 25yrds? I see guys doing it all the time when they could be shooting from a more challenging distance. The rifle is certainly capable. Never owned one myself, I'm more into long distance precision stuff. Just curious.
