So I need y'alls opinions and suggestions. I'm giving my best friend a sxs shotty for his wedding/30th bday. He's always wanted one and I'd like to make it sentimental. Any suggestions for an engraving plate on the stock or something to that effect?

I like a suggestion brought up before of having people important to him sign the stock w/ a sharpe then putting a clear coating over it to protect it from wear.

If you decide to go with a silver or brass engraved plate inlaid in the stock, please share with us who did the work for you. I have been wanting to give a similar gift, but not having any luck finding a place to do the engraving and attaching of the plate.

Think i'm gonna hit up a trophy shop that does engraved plates and have something like this done and attach it with brass screws somewhere on the rear stock. I think its fitting, especially what its going on
