    I had no idea we even had a nuclear power plant there. I had to look it up just out of curiosity:

    Or, for purposes including TEOTWAWKI planning, there's always the option of looking for a more sizeable plot of Texas land, like over 420,000 acres. You could install your own small reactor for self-contained energy generation. And evidently it's made up of 22 separate ranches, has waterways, buildings, houses, an airstrip and a hangar, and you could invite all the forum members up to visit if things start looking really dicey... :D
