    Somewhere in Texas!
MidwayUSA has Fiocchi 22 LR 40grn for $3.33 per 50, copper plated. I ordered 50 boxes, while it may not be the &0.89 Federal I could buy as a teen, it is, IMO a somewhat reasonable price and reliable.

CCI Quiet is in stock, ordered 4

I’ve never used reman ammo before, but I do see it advertised . Is it any better or worse than new?
I used to buy a lot of reman range ammo from Freedom years ago. I noticed no difference from any new US factory ammo, they just use once fired cases instead of new. I only remember 1 bad round, bullet was seated a bit crooked in the case neck.

Even with shipping of ~ $25/case IIRC, it was better price than Walmart. But then they opened a store in TX, so started to charge sales tax. Luckily I found Targetsports USA and during the good times stocked up heavy; could get cases of new ammo for great prices with free shipping, no tax, beat Freedom easy.

I'd buy from them again if the total price was competitive once I get to where I need to buy more ammo.

I have probably fired thousands of rounds of this ammo at the range. Nary a failure. I can't speak for every manufacturer's reloads, but Freedom Munitions has been fine.

I would not use reloads for self defense (would not use hardball for that matter).

Same here. It’s good range ammo.

Hmm... Freedom Munitions is a brand I do the utmost to avoid. Both the reman and new stuff. Too many issues with it in multiple different firearms and magazines. If I remember right, multiple bad primers and a whole lot of underpowered loads. They might have gotten better, but I'll never find out directly.

I just ran across in the past few years, no idea what it was like prior to that.

Eh, I know most folks here don’t like Academy but they’ve got boxes of Blazer 9mm 115gr for $14.99 during Presidents Day weekend.

Georgia Arms ammunition has .44-40 cowboy loads available. I just purchased 200 rounds. They probably have more. The cost is $60 per 50 rounds. Better than anywhere I've seen in 2 years. I don't have a dog in this fight and have enough for my meager needs.

    Thanks.
