Never really thought about it... Do the previous ones gain collector value when the face of the monarch gets changed?

There might be a small bump, especially for 2022 date marks, but I think long term it won’t make a significant difference. Demand for a coin often has more to do with the country backing them - silver eagles for example - than what’s depicted.

Maybe they’ll make a commerative coin that could get retail investors excited enough to pay a premium, but even then, I think demand wanes as time passes.

But considering they had 96 years to make coins around her likeness, there are plenty out there so they aren’t scarce.

If they wanted a premium like what silver eagles command, I would pass.
