    Out here by the lake!
Buying one from someone other then Randall generally results in an upcharge. Two of my best friends ended up in a deal on one. Nice nice not sure what the one paid or the other profited. There is a reason I never owned one & its totally price & wait times.

    Gunz are icky.
If you custom order direct from Randall the wait is 5 years. FIVE years!
If you’re willing to forgo some custom touches the vendors usually have something close and have it now.
Nordic overcharges but has some very nice versions.
Buxton is factory priced and a Texan.
There is always the Ebay as well.

Closer to six years...at least according to the note I got when I ordered my latest...

Smithsonian Bowie with a pile of upgrades. Only...four more years to go :D

I do try to order one every year, just to have something cool to look forward to (that usually I have forgotten about ordering until I get the 'hey, your knife will be ready next month" letter...

I bought my dad one in the early 70's as a present. When he died I got it and have passed it down to a daughter. She wanted something that was her grandfathers. Although she never met him. He died in 83 and she was born in 84

I am going by my buddy's house here in a few minutes to look at some Randalls that he has. He may have something that I want, but I doubt it. I have found the one that I want that is $35 over the price on the Randall website. Choosing between paying an extra $35 and getting it now or saving $35 and waiting 5 years, I'm going to pay the $35. I may not have 5 more years.
I called the seller. Yes it is in stock, more than one, I'm getting close......

IMO, the 0-1 carbon steel blade is better than the stainless if you're actually going to use the knife.
The stainless blade looks better but is brittle and more difficult to sharpen. My stainless has chipped on the edge.

Good luck on your search and post pics!

If you're rich like me, you should look at the +$35 as a percentage increase. In other words, $35 ain't much more.

It took me 67 years but I just placed an order for my first Randall knife. I ordered from A G Russell so I hope to have it soon, I hope. I'm a Happy Boy!

    Nice one.

Another place that sells Randall’s is, of all places, Nagel’s gun shop in San Antonio.
They have a modest display with some popular models.
Prices are about the same as the on-line vendors.

This one was only $35 more than Randall's price. I checked with Clinton first but he's showing nothing. I guess he's waiting on the big knife show.

That Clinton place hardly ever has any for sale.
He can get you one a lot quicker than the 5-6yr wait tho.
They and the others have pre-bought places in line.
The wait will still be at least a year tho.

    Enjoy your new knife.
Randall's are a great piece of Americana.
