    :mad: well as you can see below this is what i found when i stripped "her" apart earlier tonight. i have already emailed lasermax. my question is, has anybody seen this before?

    Nope, have been running a LaserMax in my XD45 for years (got one of the first dozen built), and other than eating batteries, I've not had any problems with it!

    BTW, the batteries are $5 each at WalMart, and you need four. Luckily, I find them on base for $2.79 apiece which is a little easier. LaserMax wants $12.50 for 1 shrink-wrapped set of 4 batteries, which isn't too bad but you have to factor shipping into that price as well.

    Good luck, let us know what LaserMax says! Their products usually carry a three-year warranty...
