Hope it's a Craftsman from sears. They have a life time warranty.
My dad was big in Sears Craftsman tools so naturally I bought into it as well. Time passes, I’m offshore and trying to free a lug stud on a wheel with much effort including a 18” breaker bar. The 17 mm socket split in two. Needless to say I couldn’t just run down to the Sears store. Lesson learned. Warranties are only as good as your ability to exercise them.

You do understand that Craftsman Tools is sold in many places now?

I have no idea whether she was yelling at him, or someone else.
She did stop when she faced him, though.
Also, no idea what she said.

I guess she thought he'd square off, but he didn't, he quickly bonked her noggin and to dream land she went.

I especially liked the hollow bonk sound...refreshing.

This sad tale took place in 1973. Not that the sockets were generally bad, that one just couldn’t hack it. I went to the local werkzeug (Tool) Store, bought a Stahlwilli socket and taught the lug the meaning of leverage.

Today I’d have sprayed it with Kroil, waited 15 min and spun it off with a box end.
