When I went to school Autistic kids were labeled "retarded" and rode the short bus or didn't go to school. So, I can say I didn't go to school with them.
Yep, back in the 80s basically there was no such thing as inclusion classes. ADD/ADHD kids were basically just given Ritalin and put in general education classes. They weren’t labeled special ed.
