Ft Hood cut the power?

Few minutes ago there was a light rumble. Not much at all. Power go's out then emergency sirens on Hood go off. Followed by some female robot voice message I couldn't quit hear.

The message repeated like 5 times. Some kind of instructions.


How odd....

There was people walking out their homes. Soldiers too. Asking each other if the other had power. One lady asked me if there was an emergency on base. This area is about 500 yards from Hood soil. I can see 3rd Corp from the street.


It be no big deal except for the timing of the power outage. This dwelling has a smart meter btw.

When I lived in Harker Heights in 1988, the power would go off every time we had a thunderstorm.

It was so bad, I never reset the VCR or digital clocks because it was a pain in the ass.
