    I was taught in the Houston food handlers class if you see one there’s plenty more. Go buy yourself som TomCat rat baits. It slows them down so targeting them is easier. They will seek out water and that’s when you make multiple kills at a time. You know they have had babies.
    It's more fun and humane to shoot them though.

    Nice kill, for a passive trap I like to get a 5 gallon bucket, drill a small hole on opposite ends, insert a wooden towel in those holes and slather peanut butter in the middle of the dowel.

    Fill it with water 3/4 way up so when the dowel spins they can’t jump out of the water…they must suffer those little basturds.

    powered by air and can be turned down to kill rodents, and not ventilate the walls, but is usualy at full power since its mostly for raccons and shots taken outside in the chicken pen.

    Your suppressed 22/45 mkiv might be quieter though.
