That’s cool. Thanks. I worked with a guy who tried his hand at that sport. Said the blanks they shot had come kind of corn or corn starch in them. They would pop a balloon and he said they were a pain to clean out of his revolver afterwards. It always peaked my interest. Looks like fun.

Excellent image. Wish I had a good camera that could take action pics like that.
You can generally get an older generation but still decent camera for about the cost of a gun... this was shot on a D7200. We use newer, better, badder cameras at work, but I picked my D7200 up for I think south of $500.
Watched that competition when I was at the Houston Livestock Show last year. It was so damn hot outside we ducked into the arena to see what was going on and they had that event going on. It was amazing watching them compete.
