    Throw the book at her for violating a stupid Order? I really hate the attitude some people have that they are above the law but I really hate these laws too.

    I am too, but only just a tiny bit at the edge.

    I'm in the camp if you encounter a stupid law, you should if possible obey the law and work to repeal the law. And if need be, repeal the governing body.

    Trouble is, this isn't a law. It's an order - by the very woman who "takes her personal hygiene very seriously" - that is being enforced as a law. So yes, she very much should face the penalties for breaking her own order.

    So, if we don't throw the book at her then she needs to immediately apologize to her constituents, liquidate all her assets and give them to every barber forced to close, and rescind any order she herself violated.

    As far as I am concerned, she is doubly guilty. First of an illegal order, then violating it.

    She needs multiple books thrown at her. The first should be The Federalist Papers...
