    Anything that last from 1911 to 1985 in the US military service deserves the rep as a classic. Besides it was my first pistol as a teenager and what I carried as a Marine for many years.

    This video from the 'Forgotten Weapons' YouTube channel shows the development of the pistol. Mr. Browning created several versions to get it right. Enjoy!!!!
