Go online and check quotes on EVs. Rates are typically 2x compared to a mid-size SUV. Expensive to repair and once you start getting more flaming up, rates will be higher.

A new issue for EVs is the fact that they weigh more so, under current weight limits for haulers, they cannot carry as many EVs as they can fossil-fueled vehicles. So they are requesting an increase in limits.
