    The insurance companies are going to have “special” rates and exclusions for electric cars. No thanks.

    Not to mention your house is now on fire if you park an EV in an attached garage, and it catches fire.

    …so your insurance asks where the car is parked at night. Garage. You must now park outside due to fire risk and you get a hail storm that damages the car. It is supposed to be in a garage. How is that handled through insurance now? Claim denied?
