Finally signed up for a 22lr PRS match at Cawthon Cartridge Club near Navasota. I used their one of their loaner rifles, a Vudoo Gun Works in a MDT chassis with Leupold Mark 5HD on top. What an impressive weapon! And what a price tag for a 22lr! :roflfunny: I did have to buy their ammo for it which was Lapua Center-X.

While my score was pretty terrible I had a great time, and got better as the matched progressed. Two targets were just over 210yds, several in the high 100’s and many between 100-130 with a few shorter still. Wind picked up as the day wore on but the rifle and ammo did a pretty good job of bucking most of it.

My son went with me though he didn’t shoot today, we’ll try to change that soon.

I do want to try it with a 10/22.

Congrats on getting out there. I entered my first competition last year, and it was a blast. I shot in a 200 yd open sight M1 Garand match and wound up winning.
Glad you had fun and want to go back.
