Woohoo. Going to be a good weekend.
I've been shooting for several years now, fairly often. I've definitely improved my skills and my Steel Challenge match times prove this. But...I've never had any kind of formal training. One of my resolutions was to get out and do 3 training classes this year (and 4 shooting matches).
This weekend will be my first. Defensive Pistol Skills 1 with KR Training! Tomorrow morning, probably in the rain. I'm excited!
Already signed up with them for DPS2 and planning to do DPS3 and Handgunning: beyond the basics.
After these, I'll probably look to do some matches for a while, then later this year or next year, do some rifle/shotgun training.
Hopefully, I'll learn a bunch, meet some good people, and most importantly have a really safe experience.
