I have a few cases of Fiocchi SP primers that I'd like to get rid of. Bought them direct and have used them in the past but this lot just won't feed consistently in my Camdex machines. Work fine in the Dillon and tube feeder but I'll never use them up that way so I'm selling them.

Packaged 1500 a box, 8 boxes or 12k per case. I am in Austin area but in FW, SA, and Houston once a month for deliveries and will gladly meet up to sell them.

$37.5 per box of 1500 or $285 per 12k case.

Is the size off on them, do you know? I'd hate to wind up with a pile of primers that won't run in my LNL either.

By the way, I tried to have a conversation with you but never got a response.

I should be clearer, these primers dont feed in my primer collator because the anvil height is slightly higher than my drop tube entrance. I'm not modifying my machine to accommodate them but they arent oversize in diameter or something detrimental. It is simply a tolerance issue between them and my commercial equipment.

I run Camdex machines at the shop. I've run hundreds of thousands of Fiocchi primers but this lot code just won't run and in my business it's easier to sell them than modify a production machine for a one off.

Davis, can you explain anvil height? Are the primers taller than in the past? Unable to be seated below flush or at flush?

When is your next Houston run? I’ll try a box and if satisfactory I’ll take a bunch.

I’m close to sending an order to PV.

The anvil isnt seated fully into the primer when you first get them. It's to keep it off the priming pellet. So when you look at the primer you can see the anvil is off it just slightly, waiting ro be seated into it during priming.

My entry tube is tight to avoid any primer going in that may bring the slide bar and go boom. My tolerances are far tighter than a normal machine because I'm running 4400 an hour and that bar is moving fast. Once seated, no issue but I dont have the slop to feed them.

I'll be in Houston next Tuesday for deliveries. Happy to bring a box for you. I'll try to post a picture later showing what I am talking about.

Here is what causes issues, notice how the anvil is just high on the left primer. That is enough to hang my primer feed system.

You would never see it or notice it but that tiny extra protrusion is enough not to feed properly.
