Taking the class on the 11th figured I’d schedule the fingerprint appointment for the next day since identigo is pretty booked. Every time I enter my license number exit tells me it’s invalid.

Logged into DPS and it can’t locate my license # though when I checked if it’s eligible it’s telling me I’m good to drive and license is valid.

called DPS and got a recording saying they’re too busy to take the call. Emailed them and have to wait 3-5 days for a response.

for background for my license at end of May after moving here from CA.

    Any insights?

Gave me a good scare thinking my license wasn’t valid.

class is next week followed by application, etc.
You can start the application now and append required documents as you acquire them. Just be sure every thing you send to DPS is in PDF format!

    The way I did it:
1.) Applied and paid the application fee
2.) got fingerprint done(these are sent to DPS by Identigo
3.) Took LTC course and received certificate.
    4.) Scanned certificate into computer.
    5.)Conveted scanned document to PDF
6.) Logged in to my DPS account and attached PDF to my account.
    7.)Wait...wait...wait...wait...wait...wait.... waiting.

Didn’t realize I could start the application before I took the class. Will do so and schedule fingerprinting.
    Appreciate it!

Took me 60 days to get my LTC mainly because i piece mild it together. Initiated application and sent dd-214.
A week later i did the fingerprints. A week after that i took the class. A month after Initiation of application i sent supporting documents that were hard to track down. It didn't seem the bother DPS at all. They never missed a beat in the process.

This is exactly what I did for my wife and I. Submitted the LTC100's about 10 days ago. Status is on the last step and says "Print Pending". Hopefully we'll see them fairly soon.

If you have not done it yet, sign up for USPS informed delivery. Then you don't have to rush to the mailbox every day looking for your LTC. Good luck.
