I'd say the charges were an attempt to shut him up and keep him from checking into obama's birth records (among
other things). When he wouldn't quit, they just backed down.

They were investigating Sheriff Joe Apailo for racial profiling in AZ...Racial profiling on Mexican nationals. Mexican nationals who maybe running drugs into the US or entering the US illegally. Funny , a Sheriff on a US state that borders Mexico is being scrutinized for dealing with folks that in are in this country illegaly from MEXICO. Must be a conspiracy...
