    You could probably fire a semi-auto clone faster. Isn't the ROF something like 300 or 400 RPM.

    I don't think it would be very exciting after the first mag just to say you've shot one before.
    I think I recall it was not over 500 RPM with the average being about 450 RPM. It definitely has a very slow cyclic rate of fire compared to most fully auto guns.

    Buddy of mine was an Army tanker in Germany late 70’s/early 80’s. They were issued M3’s.
    He related they were very worn.
    I was a Supply Sergeant/armorer in Bamberg Germany from 1996-1999 and we had a few M3A1s in the armsroom. Unfortunately never had a chance to fire them. When I was purchasing my HK machinegun sear I did try out the sellers Guide Lamp M3 with 9mm conversion. Yes, got to love the slow cyclic rate.
