    Any suggestions?

I have a cheap ass pair of shooting glasses that fog up about 3 seconds after I put them on. Even my sun glasses that I wear inside my helmet occasionally are fogging up when I'm at the range. Once the rifle has warmed up it seems that I can't keep my glasses fog free.

Any hints? I've sprayed them in antifog stuff. Tried rain-x, spit. I thought about dragging them around the cat box because somebody said something about cat grunt, but I'm not quite there yet.

Right now I'm shooting without any eye protection, which probably might be sorta alright but eventually I'll probably really wish I had some. Sorta like my arm is enjoying the feel of hot shell casings:

Prefer not to find out what catching something that hot in the eye feels like.

umm Oww. Be kind cool if it scars that way tho. Sorry, but if the anti fog coating doesnt work, I dunno. That stuff works great on my scuba mask.

Perhaps I'm a tad uptight, but asking somebody to spit on it just sounds a bit too Broke Back Mountain for me.

Spit usually works for me. Rub a good layer of it on both sides of the lens and then rinse off under water, but not running water, then let it air dry. If you're rubbing it dry, that could be part of the problem.

or go to auto zone and use the anti fog that you would use on the windshield but trust me sometimes the brass
comes up and over the glasses got the burn to prove it

ITs not the glasses fault they are fogging up-
Might think about cleaning them real well and trying them without wearing the helmet and breath through your nose-

Perhaps I wasnt clear: When I'm ridding a motorcycle I wear a full face helmet. When I'm at the range I wear a baseball cap at most.

I just want to be able to wear eye protection at the range. Preferably, the eye protection would fog up. I don't think I'm asking too much.

I wear these both when riding and shooting...

    ESS ICE Naro

They're inexpensive, comfortable, light, adjustable, fully compliant with the US military specification MIL-PRF-31013 and ANSI Z87.1+ standards, come in several colors (smoked, clear, hi-def yellow and hi-def copper, which I really like), and most of all, they rarely fog up on me!

The nice thing is that ESS stands behind their products. I had a lense that cracked, so I contacted them and not only did they send me a replacement, they sent a few "extra" items as well!

    Cheers! M2

A divers' trick, clean your lenses with baby shampoo and then a gentle rinse. Learned that on the last time I went to Hawaii.
