C&S may be a good company but $55 for a rough cast part that need fitting seems somewhat excessive

That's the one I saw....they are supposedly not easy to fit, and still $55 plus with shipping

Not alot of BHP aftermarket parts out there...I fitted a C&S BHP "no bite" hammer fairly easily.

The GM safety is made by C&S.

Look into getting a BHP safety from the later models.

I bought my BHP ambi-safety off of ebay.com for (I think I remember) 28.oo plus S&H.
(I'm a Southpaw.)

It needed NO adjustment.
