Got an ESEE 4 and decided to get their contoured 3D grips. The ESEE 5 was just too big and heavy for my needs and the 3 was too small.

In hind sight the regular older grips might have been better.

A few months back I finally replaced the grips and am happy with grips from The Knife Connection. Much better feel, control, and use ability. Something to look into if the ESEE 4 grip feels small. Did a video on it.

A knife can be 100% perfect but crappy handles can ruin them faster than a car wreck. I’m glad to see the secondary market explode for handle and sheath options.
    ESEE makes some great blades.

Handle design plays a big role in how useful fixed blades can be.

ESEE and Tops make some good USA made blades. While they cost a little more, the heat treat and durability seem great and worth the cost of being made here vs overseas.
