    Initially I was proud and excited for him, I still am, however tomorrow we're having a little shindig for him as he heads out later this month and due to recent events I have to admit that fear has definitely set in. I won't show him that, or tell him that as it's his journey and I certainly don't want to phuck that up for him. He's joining the US Army, MOS 91 Papa and boot camp is in South Carolina.

    Good for him! You'll never be more proud than watching him graduate Boot Camp. I see 91P's are artillery mechanics. Not a bad job. Plus he'll make a real difference. Congrats and well done.

    Whelp he swore in today, we weren't able to be there in person to watch due to the Rona but it was posted by MEPS Dallas so we were at least able to see it. He should be on the plane now to Fort Jackson.

    I forwarded all well wishes to him. Thank you all for those and thank you to everyone who served before and maybe with him.
