I'm 6'0", 165lbs. About as skinny as a man can be when not from Ethiopia or Venezuela.

I WANT to carry my .40 cal double stack 2011 SVI (my main competition blaster)... but it looks like I'm wearing a portable oxygen generator or CPAP machine under my shirt...

    90% of the time it's a P365 in my front right pocket, and 10% a P938.
You sound like the perfect candidate for appendix carry

Yes, I like my P938, easy to hide, even with a Tshirt. But I go about 240 at 5-11

I don't worry about any bulge sticking out. If anyone asks I tell them my eyes are up here, not down there. I carry a S&W M&P .40. When I started out carrying I was extremely paranoid, but I eventually realized that as long it was covered by my shirt then it was almost undetectable. I just don't care about concealment beyond simply covering the handgun anymore. Feels great. Doesn't look like I have a gun. Full size has its benefits.

You and me both! 6’0” and 165 lbs also. I sometimes carry a fullsize 1911 at the 3 o’clock position. I find an untucked XL t-shirt usually conceals it well, unless I bend or sit down - and then it prints bad.

Any suggestions for a leather OWB holster for a CZ75B? I've got a leather Galco OWB for my Bersa Thunder, and it's comfortable for a fat little pistol.

Highnoon made a nice holster for my PCR. You might like one for your 75B

Sometimes this in a 5.11 RUSH MOAB SLING PACK.

And sometimes this in a 5.11 RUSH MOAB SLING PACK or Galco IWB.

And sometimes a combination of the 3.

Most of the time a Springfield Hellcat with one reload in a hybrid IWB at 3:30 position. If I want a little less range of motion and clothing to keep printing reduced, the CZ P-10C would be my hands down choice in either OWB or IWB. I'm confident with both, but the CZ is just a really good match to me.

Full sized never were a great fit. I didn't really shoot better with them over something like a G19 size and when sitting, the muzzle and grip push on the seating surfaces. If I shot appreciatively better with a full size I'd consider carrying one in the winter.

CZ PCR in the winter months. Not full sized but works. SP101 in the summer months. Cant do the really tiny pistols but a revolver, no problem.

Who all carries a full size pistol? What is your carry, what holster do you like, and why don't you go with a compact frame? Any other advantages beyond capacity and maybe velocity? Thanks in advance.

    Seven7VII,

Over the decades, I've EDC all sorts of handguns concealed (or on the farm a S&W Model of 1917 in .45AutoRim, unconcealed) but MOSTLY a GM 1911 .45ACP.

Fwiw, once we get settled OCONUS, I will be EDC a GM "clone" in .38 Super in a "high-rise" OWB "tortilla" holster.
(Given my usual garb of jeans, long/untucked golf shirt & boat shoes, concealing a M1911 is not a problem for me. - In the "very unusual" event that I have to get more "dressed up" than that, I go from jeans/golf shirt to a suit/tie, which also conceals a 1911 quite well.)

Note: I've just been notified by email that my "previously ordered"/backordered TISAS "Duty Model" 1911 will arrive at the FFL licensee W/I 10 days.
Once it's here, I'll change-out the .45ACP barrel & extractor for my NOS .38SUPER barrel/extractor & put-on my "downright PURTY" grip "mystery wood" panels that I found a few months ago in a gun show "back-table junk box".

Kimber custom shop cdp in a Galco paddle holster at 4 o'clock. I always have on an untucked long sleeved shirt even in summer (welder habit) so fairly easy for me to keep it covered

    Full size EDC, eh? OK.

CZ 97 BD in a Maxx Carry IWB holster or a Crossbreed SuperTuck. Either way; pretty comfy.
    2 mags - 1 in and 1 extra.

The pistol is a shade over 40 oz....empty. So a solid gun-belt is not optional.
But I like it....dress around it......and it works well even in the summer for me.

Carry what works for you....but be sure to carry.

Five inch 1911 IWB. I have Kramer horsehide no. 3 and Sparks VM2 as my favorite holsters right now. Slim grips and flush magazine. See my avatar. No problem.

Most of the time I carry a Langdon Tactical full size PX4 storm in a locally made kydex holster or leather holster with 2 back up mags. I use a vest to conceal all times of the year. Only one person has ever said anything about the vest in the 20+ years I have carried. There is a 3" 696 that will go into the rotation when it gets back from the gunsmith getting some customization done. When outing in the woods I crossdraw carry my 629 powerport in a Galco . The vest won't hide that one.
