Got up at 5:00 am to make the commute to Brookshire's in Groesbeck for marked down pork belly that had todays date. 65% off off regular retail puts me in my happy place.

My Brookshire Brother's is about 3/4 of a mile away so I don't have to leave quite as early. I do go early on every markdown day and get meat. I can't remember the last time I bought full price meat.

This is Brookshire's not Brookshire Brother. The nearest Brookshire Brother is in Jewett about as far away as plain Brookshire's. The BB in Jewett meat case is very tiny. There is another Brookshire Brother's in Buffalo that bigger & nicer then Jewett.

I normally shop Brookshire's and was in 2 days ago when I noticed the dated on the 3 Bellies I bought.
