    Yeah, I caught that and tried to delete the post. Texas got +2 as and I missed that. Not sure how my attempt to delete the post flopped.

    Wouldn't that also mean a couple more for Texas in the Electoral College?

    Yes; Texas will go from 38 to 40 Electoral College votes. (Still well behind California in EC votes & Congressional seats).

    As of the 2020 census, Texas’ population is 29,145,505. Federal Congressional Districts will increase from 36 to 38.

    Federal House District boundaries, as well as state House & Senate boundaries have to be drawn by the end of September. And as ToddnJoyce said in Post #4, Gov. Abbott will undoubtedly have to call a special session of the Texas legislature to draw these boundaries.
