I have an idea for a solution to this problem - Lets start a rumor!

There's a new strain of covid. I'm not sure what name we would give it. Y'all are pretty creative so surely we can come up with some good ideas. Maybe we name it "the yellow-dog variant"?

Contracting this new varient has a 95% mortality rate and it causes an extremely painful death. And the entire Republic of Texas is a hotspot for this extremely infectious virus

My son lives in Austin. In May I drove from Dallas to see him. I told him I will never come to Austin ever again. The traffic and congestion blew my mind.
I made the mistake of taking a job there when we first arrived in the Great State of Texas. It made the traffic of Sillycon Valley and Seattle look reasonable.

Despite decades of attempts by a couple of Libtard powerhouses to indoctrinate me, I somehow retained my mother's country values to this day. So did my brother right up to the day he died. My sister, on the other hand.. drank all the Kool-aid and asked for more. Born on an Army base in Seattle, tormented by decades of stupidity in Sillycon Valley.. I did get a 15 year reprieve living in rural WA... I'm just glad I got my family here before I shed this mortal coil.

The wife's family is from Beaumont... so we're not all a bunch of carpet baggers. The LAST thing this Left Coast asylum seeker wants to see is ANYTHING that resembles the shitholes I left... and I suspect there are a few of us unfortunate enough to be subjected to the bastions of Left Ideology that came here to escape it. Now, some y'all might stil want to tell us to get bent... I get it... I really do... but I can say with truth that I've never pulled a Blue lever in my entire voting life. Fugg those bastards.

They move here to get away from their overtaxed shitholes.

    Basically this.

I moved to Texas from CA years ago, but if you judge me from my posts here, one can see I'm far from being one of the commies freeloading off of Texas. While I moved here because of commie politics (and the shithole created) many of these transplants got sick and tired of some of the same things I did, but the huge difference is that they are too f***ing stupid to realize that it was the the way they voted that created the whole clusterf*** in the first place. They fail to see THAT IT IS THEIR FAULT. They have zero clue how widespread crime, high taxes, high standard of living, crumbling infrastructure, shitty schools, power outages, forest fires, water shortage, extreme restrictions and regulations, etc. etc have come about.

If you ask one of these f***ing idiots how the dire conditions appeared, they would likely say it is Trump's fault.

    Dallas Texas or so
I saw where one state governor was trying to stop out of state students from voting in her state. Texas should do the same. Just because they live here while in school does not make them Texas residents.I thi
I think there was a fed law or court case that gave students the right to vote in the state/localities where the go to school/indoctrination centers. This was 20 or more years ago.

They can also double vote with a mail in ballot from home.

My wife got mad at me last night cause I wont go into certain places.

    Cali
    Hawaii
    Any liberal shitholes.

Shes like well then I'm planning a girls vacation. I said knock yourself out.

My last trip to california was about 20 years ago. I had bought a cheap throw away 38spl revolver to smuggle in and take places and I was thinking driving back into AZ, WTF am I doing spending a few thousand bucks to prop up this place.

I love california as a location and vacation spot but of the wife goes to san deigo I stay in Yuma and Yuma is a shit hole all it's own.

At least we can go to TX and Florida vacation spots now.

I learned long ago that I could vacation all I wanted and never leave Texas or Louisiana.
Except for bucket list stuff like the Air and Space parts of the Smithsonian.
That museum was one of the highlights of visiting D.C. Just wish I had more time to see everything in there. Then again, it would take a lot more then that to get me to go back to D.C. these days.

We had a big vacation in Vegas with 5 couples from across the country we'd not seen in year. Now, Vegas has a certain insane appeal to me, but when they put in the mask mandate, I told the Mrs. that I simply wasn't going.. not doing it. She ended up going.. in the end only 1 other couple made it... she took our daughter in my place.

If any place in TX ever puts any mask mandates in, it's off my go list, unless I absolutely MUST go there for some reason (maybe like the ER, God forbid). I just won't do it. Fuggem. I'll spend my money (tax and otherwise) in a place that more closely reflects my values. NV used to be good fun.. now it's been fully Californicated... I just wish my friends would move out of there so I'd not have any reason to every go, at all.

Yeah... that is an epic museum for sure.

Now, if you wanna go places a little less libtarded... the Museum at Pima is pretty mind blowing too.. over 300 aircraft including a couple one-of-2 examples... Saw stuff there I'd never even heard of. They are also the custodians of the last famous B-36 that was found in Fort Worth and restored. It's parked next to a pair of B-52s and it makes them look a little measly... I wrote a blog about it: https://blog.daviddemartini.com/pima-air-space-visit-june-2017/

Having spend 30 years in the tech industry, I can say with complete confidence and accuracy.. it's full of some of the dumbest people I've ever met. Some are really talented in the silo in which they function.. much like some sort of idiot-savants. I also believe you need to be well into "The Spectrum" to even function in this industry.

Now consider what is driving a lot of the migration to this state (not all mind you.. my autistic-ass came here for the freedoms... I arrived jobless.. I'd rather have been broke than subjugated). OK.. trying to get back on track... the booming tech sector is bringing in some of the weirdest, I-need-someone-to-tell-me-what-to-do-next people in the world... frankly I wish it wasn't happening for a lot of reasons, not the lease of which is these boobs are running up our property taxes, opposing our values and being just plain pains in the ass.

A *former* friend of mine - a man I used to consider a brother, and who stood next to me at both of my weddings spent his adult career in tech. About 15 years ago he left his contract tech-support company to get hired directly by Adobe, and part of his job required going to India 3-4X a year.

This man was raised by Alabama-transplant conservative Southern Baptist parents. Dad was a Vietnam vet, church deacon, he got out of the service and used his GI Bill money to go to school and become a computer engineer. Dad managed to NOT get infected with liberalism. I know my former friend wasn't raised that way. Even back in high school he was pro-life, pro God, pro gun.

Now he's a goddamned socialist, Bernie-Hillary-Biden loving shithead. He's now "pro choice" (pro abortion), he hasn't gone to church in years save for holidays. Anti-gun.

We stopped talking years ago, tried reconnecting last year, but I just couldn't deal with his socialist bullshit he kept spewing so just cut that cancer back out of my life. The tech industry with its California and foreign influence really worked him over.

I've heard many smart people say that leftism is a disease that attacks the brain. And there is no vaccine.
There is no helping us. I am worried that Texas will be overrun soon. We already lost the capitol a while ago, now the other big cities are folding and soon the hard-working an intelligent people left will be outvoted by the newcomers. Only a matter of time.
    Please prove me wrong.

You ever read some of the crazy shit lefites post on Reddit and their "blogs" - plus in the mainstream? They have been calling for decades for lefties from Cali, Illinois, New York, etc to move to less populated, more conservative areas in order to flip them and gain control. The lefties want all of Texas' reps, they want Texas' senate seats (bad enough with Cornhole, but at least he can be bullied or shamed into voting like a Republican from time to time)

The left coasties love Idaho because Idaho had cheaper properties, lower taxes, more freedom - but Idaho has fewer people total population than Harris County last I checked. It'll flip blue a lot faster than Texas, because of the sheer numbers needed to flip Texas. But be sure, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Montana, Wyoming - all are targets for lefties to colonize.

The Baby Heartbeat Law may have an unintended consequence of making leftest stay away.
I strongly support the law and if saves kids lives and repulses leftest socialist assholes, all the better

Praying to God you're right. If things like the Heartbeat Bill and permitless carry keep lefties from moving here, so much the better!
