    Amen!

The U.S. water supply is full of anti-depressants because so many people are taking them, even the water filtration and purification systems we have can't filter all of it out when the waste water is treated. The U.S. has a culture of addiction. Everyone is supposed to feel good. If not, there's something wrong and I either need to buy a new car, house, boat, wife, etc. or take some pills.

Heaven forbid that I get out of myself and consider helping someone less fortunate and in turn get filled with gratitude for how good I have it! Much easier to take a pill. And if the kids aren't behaving or are interupting my sitting on the couch watching "reality TV" then obviously they need some Ridlin or something to settle them down. It would deprive me to get off my tail and go spend time with them outside playing ball. That's way too much like effort.
