I've had several Saturns, Chevrolets, a Toyota and Subaru that never required a warranty repair. Other vehicles by Ford and Honda weren't as trouble free.
My no warranty claim vehicle is my 06 Dodge Diesel.

The only time I thought about a claim was when the transmission that everyone warned me that it would be a constant problem, started shifting a little sloppy.

The local Dodge dealer told me that at 365,000 miles, that they were pretty sure warranty would not cover it. WTF!!!

neighbor has a Santa Cruz and really like it. She is does alot of landscaping and her last load she had over 1200 lbs of mulch in the bed and it did well.
Maybe it did, but If she does that every day, the car/truck will be trash before the year is done.

Maby. They are rated for 1400 lbs.
Well, I suppose load capacity ratings are just suggestions anyway.
