My older form 1 and 4's have the serial number of the item written on the stamp in hand and in ink.
I just received an approved form 1, PDF from email, at the bottom of the form its signed by agent, marked approved, the stamp looks more like an overlay, or watermark, and its does not have anything marked on the "stamp".
Maybe they don't actually put a real stamp on e-file forms?
