On Saturday I was getting ready to prep some 45 ACP cases and a number of the cases have crimped primers so I was going to use a Dillon Super Swager to prep the primer pockets. There is a part canned an eccentric pin, that has to be removed to change from small to large primer, that is held on by e-clips and one has to be removed to do the change.

E-clip when flying and I cant find it. I sent a support message through the Dillon site and today I got an email telling me the part was on it's way and no payment was requested.

Privi Partizan (PPU) have tight primer pockets and I have a bunch.

Dillon has been fantastic to me also. I have several of their tools.

If you’re in a hurry to get back in action:

Your local Ace hardware will have a proper e-clip in their drawers section. Should be pretty inexpensive as well.

Also so too.... Harbor Freight sells a box of assorted e-clips. There's an ass load of e-clips of virtually any size you need - or may ever need. Rather inexpensive. I bought it for "just in case" times. They also sell boxes of assorted 'O' rings in both metric and imperial sizes that ain't bad to keep on hand for those "just in case moments.

Not in any hurry, it's still usable. I just have to be careful to not let the pin work it's way out.

Can maybe use a piece of aircraft safety wire to temporarily keep your pin from walking out.

I suppose a twistie tie from a bread sack would work as well
