    Worth the wait..........
yep, iv'e has every one of their machines except the square B. sold my super 1050 here on TGT a few years ago. dammit. currently using a 550 but the old hands are getting too sore setting primers and seating 325 gr cast 45 colt slugs so i bit the bullet and ordered a 1100 in 45 colt and acp. not for the speed but mainly for ease of operation. my 1050 was SO DAMN EASY on me and the 1100 is supposed to be even better.

I like that it’s smoother and the primer tab is gone. If you get a wonky primer, you can just now pull out the case without having to unscrew the tab on the 1050.

What I don’t like is that the stroke is now longer than the 1050. They obviously made the 1100 to be used with an auto drive. Also, the 1050 can load larger rounds than the 1100, which is capped at 308 sized rounds.

Heres a comparison pic with the 1050 on the left, 1100 on the right. Notice there’s more room for case length clearance on the 1050.

I’m not sure about sturdier. The 1100 is smoother than the 1050, for sure. I don’t know about one being easier to cycle than the other. The 1050 is already pretty easy to cycle. Even going slow, I can load 1000 9mm an hour.

Does the 1100 still have the ratchet on the toolhead like the 1050?
