Bump for a nice gun. I had to sell my FIL's hand me down 10 years back due to hard times.
Was a 1929 model with a factory refurb in the 1970's and factor letter.
Sadly - I never shot his "Dirty Harry" gun ....though a .44 Special isn't a .44 Magnum.

Can you explain the finish? Pics make it look like a matte finish or Cerakote job. Has it been refinished?
