deer antlers

is it legal to sell deer antlers in texas? i got a big old box of em but don't wanna get put in the pokey if i sell em.

I can't recall ever reading anything in the Texas Game Regulations that forbid selling deer antlers or that it was prohibited. If there is, I must have missed it.

They are openly sold at gun shows.

Academy, Petco, and Petsmart sell them as dog chews. Many Western shops and antique stores sell them as furniture. Many stores sell knives made from them.

I think you are ok.

I have a bunch of them laying around also. Some have sentimental stories attached (Dad's last buck, son's first, etc.), others, I don't even remember where they came from. The squirrels will gnaw them if they get a chance.
Now, to the more serious question:
How did the OP arrive at his TGT moniker?

weeelll..............both the rank and the # were true, back in the day. but the big reason is, its the only damn one i can remember! after i kept forgetting em for different sites my daughter said make one up you can't forget. it got me a few head slaps at home.
