Sad...but honestly if it was an accident I would not be surprised. I've seen more safety violations at the Bullet Hole than I care to admit...

It does sound like the guy took his own life, an incident like that happened at Texas Thunder range a few years back as well, talked to the Range Officer there at T-thunder and he said the guy just stood at one of the bays and took his gun and turned it on himself. I will keep an eye on the news as well as more develops.

You would think it shouldn't take too long to find out what happened since they have a video...hopefully the video is clear enough to actually see what happened. Sad to hear. When I was there (once) they had 2 RO's and they did a good job. But like I said, only been there once.

They very well coud know, but could also be holding any info until families are notified.

My father was there right next to this man, he killed himself. Im just thankful he didnt kill my father in the process. I am sorry for his family who are left with all the questions.

I lose some trust in public ranges when I hear the horror stories of people being unsafe.
