YES! **** AAC! Unfortunately I have had to deal with their so-called customer service before. Took me calling them several times to even get hold of someone, and once I did, I was not impressed with their service. Here is my thread from some time ago:

Update: got my suppressor back in unfixed condition. At least it’s back though. Also got paperwork from Remington bankruptcy lawyers to make a claim since it wasn’t repaired but I’m not hopeful to get anything

Lots of well documented problems with AAC.
Very lucky you got it back.
Have you tried soaking in boiling water for awhile ?
Maybe get a new part made by a SOT manufacturer & they destroy the old one.

People I know will never buy AAC stuff for reasons stated here.

Talked to Mike Smith who designed the suppressor. He was really nice and gave me the specs and what metals were used. Knowing this I heated the pieces much hotter this time using a torch. I also machined the broken tool and inserted hardened steel pins where the original aluminum pins were machined on. Getting the booster almost glowing hot I was able to get it apart. The finish on the booster is shot but Mike said if I can find someone to blast it with aluminum oxide it will look good as new.

That's why I suggested soaking in boiling water.
Sugar blasting (fine sand) or baking soda will do the same.

Forgot about trying boiling water. Till I made the update on here, and by that time I was already done. Not sure if it would have worked though. Before I sent it off to AAC I put it in an ultrasonic cleaner with boiling water. Oh well the booster finish isn’t that big of an issue
