Owned one about 15 years ago and sold it. Now with ammo shortage and less range time I bought another to shoot in the backyard. I've seen some slick guns that have been modded. Probably smooth the trigger and get aftermarket sights after I break it in.

A friend of mine rabbit hunts with a .22 pellet rifle.

Somewhere in Texas!
As a kid, I killed many a rabbit with my dads' old .22 call pellet gun. A few years back I had to send it off for new leathers, and I have not shot it, per the recommendations made by the repairman, I did pump it a couple of times to keep air in the reservoir.

What Crosman .177? 760 pump?
those were fun guns.

The high prices of ammo got me back into it too, but with a .22 PCP rifle.
Keeps me in practice without having to skip meals to pay for ammo.
