I imagine you have to be in pretty good shape to make the first turn!
I have been stopped by the first turn( not on the first lap, but it got me with a nasty leg cramp on the third trip around) once but if you do it right it is just difficult. The downhill afterwards is totally worth the strain of doing the hill.

T1 is a challenge for sure; a little known secret is the escape chute to bypass the T1 climb. I’ve never used it, but my wife has on the initial lap. The key to T1 is carrying a ton of speed into it, which isn’t too hard consider the drop down to the start/finish line…the harder you work there, the easier the T1 climb becomes.

I cannot decide which of my bikes to bring: the heavy Honda? The fast Harley? The agile Kawasaki? None of them would outrun my co-worker's Ducati, though. It might be worth the drive.

Bicycle, clicking on link goes a long way. Please do not clutter this thread as it is a meet up thread.

Hope your coworker is not a gym rat realtor that tans.

Just floated this past the wife. Looks like fun, we are just going to have to figure out a date when we can get down that way. Maybe a long weekend in New Braunfels with the in-laws turns into bike night on the track.
