Well, that's a little hitch in the giddyup:

I saw a news story that China, or one province in China, just admitted to 15,000 more cases. Maybe this is that blip?

I wonder how many more hitches we are going to hear about? Especially ones in the death toll count.

But still, Wuhan was a city of over 11 million folks. 60k is about 1/2 of 1% of the population.

But we really don't know the true numbers.

    San Antonio!
Heard on the radio today that there's a confirmed case in SA. One of the quarantined folks.
"Nothing to worry about. We planned for this eventuality."

As toddnjoyce confirmed, there was one person quarantined at Lackland that has now tested positve and been hospitalized for 2019-nCoV.

I work on base and get details that I cannot share on here, and despite the panic of the ignorant masses on social media, I can attest that the proper procedures were followed to ensure the individual was safely and securely transported to an off-base facility prepared to deal with the disease.

The CDC has done a good job sharing information on the disease and cases in this country, especially how it can be transmitted. I recommend everyone take some time to educate themselves on the facts before making any decisions on how the first documented case in San Antonio can affect them.
