    i hear they is good eatin'

    this is why i always take a .22 fishin' with me though. never know when you might catch something as big as you...

    Even if Gar are good eating, the bigger any fish gets the worse the meat is usually.

    I think I'll keep my fishing poles a little longer also.

    Mambo seafood has gar on their menu. Can't bring myself to order it though....

    I walked through a dried tank/pond out in Garwood one goose season and was freaked out by all the dinosaur fossils poking up out of the dried mud until I realized what they were. That's one freaky looking fish, and freshwater fish ain't supposed to have teeth!
