On your website it mentions "pulled brass and bullets." What type bullet would be sold with the 308 cases?

    Also for 300 Blk?

Hello guys, I had to make myself look like a fool in order to reply here...LOL!

I wanted to let ya'll know that I have tested a batch of these from 1963. The batch I see for sale, code 83KC61 on the case box, should date to 16 March 1975.
I tested ten of my batch in an MGM 20" barrel using RSI's Pressuretrace II software and hardware.

1963/14,142cup11,964psi1,407fpsTest #87- Winchester 1963 stamp code Factory High Pressure Proof Loads, 16.3gr of flattened ball powder

Not vary impressive at all for a proof set, but the set is old. However, post 1979 hunting loads are not impressive either.

For a full lists of my tests of the 44-40 cartridge, check here:

Back in the day Winchester loaded their normal loads to max pressures or very close to max pressures. This was done till 1958 when Winchester switched to a flattened ball pistol powder. From there it sunk even further by 1979 when Winchester switched to a disc/flake powder.

Current SAAMI Proof Pressure data on page 356

    Proof Pressures should be between 17,500cup and 18,500cup with a 3,400cup E.V.

Some details SAAMI data for the 44-40 can be found here: https://sites.google.com/view/44winchester/chasing-the-44-40/ballistics-handloading/pressure-testing
