Woooohoooo for a day of interesting events in the FBS.

Bama loses.
Sooners lose.
Longhorns lose (I don't know if that qualifies as interesting.)
Texas Tech topples Mizzou.
Iowa State really puts it to the Cornholehuskers, but loses in OT (Might go down as a win for Nebraska but definitely goes in the embarrassment column.)
Okie Cowpokes turn on the fire.
Oregon lays it to Washington showing why they're number 1.


Got to watch the OSU Baylor game in Stillwater and will definitely have to make a trip back up there for a game next year. Definitely an awesome experience.

Florida-South Carolina is going to be an interesting game next week for those of us who follow the SEC. I'm rooting for the Gators!

But it's been an unpredictable year for the BCS, so many teams have fallen from the #1 spot and others have shined unexpectedly. Then there's LSU, who's living on borrowed time...

Sad to see the Gamecocks AND the 'Horns get smooshed on the same day. Oh well, the South Carolina folks are used to a bit of promise with a little delivery, peppered with the occasional spark of brilliant mediocrity.

I did mention that OU lost but you are correct that I failed to include the name of the team that stomped that ass. They did play great. When they were up and OU fought back that just stayed in there and put up some more points. It was a great game.
