Wife was cleaning out some closets and came across a bag that contained these. I think these were issued to me in 1982. Anyone else have a set back in the day?

This picture is late fall of 1982 in Nekoma, ND. The Army built an anti-ballistic missile system in this town. It was operational for two days and then the first SALT treaty was signed. They built an entire support base and the town built a new school, all abandoned shortly after. This was one of the tracking radars (one that’s some 40 miles away is still in use). We had moved some of the family housing units to Grand Forks AFB and then came up with a team to seal up the remaining units as part of the deal with the Department of the Interior which had taken title to the base. I think it’s all been sold off now, missile silos and all. Serious Cold War stuff.
