My family and I have been using Frog Lube since maybe 2012 or 2013. Super happy with it. Guns runs great, easy to clean, no foul smell.

Read this recently. Give it a read and maybe it'll help you with your decision.

    Gunz are icky.
    I like Pro-Shot 1 Step Gun Cleaner&Lubricant.
It has little odor and is non-hazardous.
Mainly use it for cleaning. It's a little thin for lube purposes.

I've been using Weapon Shield and now I see the chart shows it has the highest friction coefficient. Surprised to see that Rem Oil and WD-40 did so well in that area.

Break-Free CLP for cleaning and protection, and a mixture of 90% Mobil 1 and 10% Marvel Mystery Oil for lube.

If I think a part needs a little more protection than CLP, but doesn't need a thicker oil for lubrication, I'll use Rem Oil.

You've been on here long enough to remember those being fighting words a few years ago.

YUP. Always thought it was kinda strange. Was using rem oil mostly and Hoppes some. The FL worked better for me and i have always followed the directions. Does not take much, cleans great and lubes like a mother.

Honestly, I've never used it. It seems like the negative things are using too much, and being in Antarctica. Since I'm in Texas, might give it a whirl.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Shooter Lube yet. It has absolutely zero odor and it cleans really well. I’ve been using it for about a year now. Follow up with your oil of choice.
