So I was thinking about buying my brothers a mosin-nagant when Buds had them Shipped for $92, but I didnt act fast enough and they sold out. In my research, now I am lookiing at like $99+SH when adding that to the California transfer fees of $60 to $75, that is getting way too expensive.

Then I thought it might be cool to send them a black powder revolver. Cabella's has one for $119+SH no FFL needed, but its back ordered and there are no other similarly priced ones.

Now I am running out of time and I am stumped. And ideas?

Marlin 795 .22lr from Academy Sports or any other big or small box retailer is around that price range ($100 - $130). Great shooter out of the box. Better than most 10\22s from the factory. Add a scope or some TECH Sights and three extra magazines.

Thanks for the ideas, but they both have tricked out 10/22s, one doesn't fish, the other fishes for tuna and yellow tail. And skeeter, yer about as helpful as sand during sex.
